It was a bizarre week as I spent a good bit of it traveling to take the kids to Maryland and then traveling to a job interview and then back to Charleston where Beth and I are packing up our house.

Between the travel and an unexpected sore hip from Thursday – Saturday, I only got one run in. On Wednesday, I met up with a high school basketball and baseball team mate of mine and we ran 3.74 miles at an 11:50 pace.

The lack of workouts and the crazy travel diet that you all understand made me very nervous to get on the scale this morning. I got a pleasant surprise.

Starting weight – 298.8
Last week’s weight – 245.6
Current weight – 242.6
Difference – down 3 pounds
Weight loss to date – 56.2 pounds
