To put this in perspective, in mid-April of this year, I weighed nearly 300 pounds and couldn’t run a mile. Fast forward 5.5 months and I completed my most productive training month at over 100 miles in the past 30 days.

I am 2 weeks away from running the Baltimore half marathon with my friend, David. I never thought I could reach 100 miles in a single month, but it has now happened.  I’ve come so far and still have a long way to go.


Runs have been a struggle this week as I have been fighting fatigue. I’ve run every scheduled day, but have been unable to log my desired number of miles. I suspect it may be a combination of being ill last weekend on top of the terrible eating that I did while sick.
