It was a full force week of training and after last week’s pitiful 7 mile output it felt great to hit it hard again. I managed to get four solid conditioning runs in as well as an 11 miler on Saturday. Here’s the breakdown.

Monday – 4.02 miles in 38:36 for a pace of 9:36.

Tuesday – 6 miles in 58:35 for a pace of 9:45.

Wednesday – 4 miles in 38:34 for a pace of 9:38.

Thursday – rest

Friday – 6.22 miles in 1:00:20 for a pace of 9:41.

Saturday – 11.01 miles in 1:51:57 for a pace of 10:10.

Sunday – rest

Weekly Miles – 31.25
YTD Miles – 549.56

October saw some solid progress in my runs. I finished the month with 98.65 miles and had an average pace of 10:02 for the month. Compare that to September where I ran 113.59 miles and had an average pace of 11:11. I knocked 1:09 off my pace during October, so despite missong my 100 mile target, I am happy.
