Tuesday – 4.01 miles in 32:17 for a pace of 8:02/mile. Location: Wakefield Valley Trail. Temp: 30 degrees. Also did a 60 minute spin class.

Wednesday – 5.41 miles in 45:25 for a pace of 8:24. Location: Wakefield Valley Trail. Temp: 37 degrees. (Dead legs today)

Thursday – Running rest day. Strength training instead.

Friday – 4.08 miles in 31:35 for a pace of 7:44. Also set a PR for mile and 5k. Location: Wakefield Valley Trail. Temp: 43 degrees.

I started out to do 10 miles on Saturday. Around mile 8 I realized that I still had a good bit in the tank and with the weather being unseasonably mild, I decided to shoot for my first half marathon distance training run. I was ecstatic to get it done in under 2 hours. Psychologically, I now feel ready to do a real half marathon.
