It was an unusual week for running. A Friday rest day, skipping Monday’s workout, and a midweek long run were all part of the past week. My weekly mileage was low, but I still feel like I had a solid week that culminated in a 7 mile/10 mile back to back on Tuesday and Wednesday.  Also despite it being a holiday week, I was able to lose on the scale!

Friday – No workout. After completely burning out on Thursday’s run, I took a much needed rest day. On the plus side, I had another amazing date day with Beth! Batman v Superman was incredible!!

Saturday – 3.31 miles in 28:37 for a pace of 8:39. Normally, Saturday is a long run day, but after coming across a local running group, I decided to join them for a run. When you run 99% of the time by yourself, running with a group is a nice change of pace.

Sunday – No workout

Monday – No workout

Tuesday – 7.04 miles in 1:00:35 for a pace of 8:36

Wednesday – 10.00 miles in 1:28:35 for a pace of 8:51. I looked at my monthly running stats and saw that I was 10 miles short of 100. Since November, I have reached that number every month. I was not going to let the streak be broken. Since I knew running tomorrow was most likely not going to happen and I didn’t have to work until 4 this afternoon, I made today a long day and knocked the 10 miles out of the park.  The pace didn’t thrill me, but getting through 10 miles in the middle of the week felt great!
